Breathe that clean, refreshing air, get reacquainted with that set of golf clubs and help support Wisconsin soybean farmers in the process during Clean Fuels Soybean Classic hosted by the Wisconsin Soybean Association (WSA) this summer.
Teaming up with Clean Fuels Alliance America, WSA is hosting this inaugural golf outing Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Evansville Golf Course in Evansville.
“We’re really excited for our first-ever golf tournament. The Evansville Golf Club is a great place to play and it’s also just a short drive from Madison, where we spend a great deal of our time advocating on behalf of Wisconsin soybean farmers,” said Ryan Smith, WSA executive director. “This fundraiser helps make sure your voice is being heard on issues that matter to you.”
The cost to participate is $100 per person, or $400 for a 4-person team, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, meal and also drink tickets. The Clean Fuels Soybean Classic hosted by WSA begins with registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. Register a team online at wisoybean.org/wsa by July 1. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
All proceeds from this event benefit WSA as well as its advocacy efforts. WSA is a farmer-led advocacy organization that works on behalf of the interests of Wisconsin’s nearly 17,000 soybean farmers in Madison and Washington, D.C.. Through proactive advocacy, WSA keeps soybean farmers farming now as well as for generations to come.
“WSA is proud to partner with Clean Fuels Alliance America for this fundraiser,” said WSA Vice President Doug Rebout. “Together, we stand in supporting biodiesel, renewable diesel and also sustainable aviation fuel as a way to reduce our carbon footprint and support Wisconsin’s soybean farmers.”
