Results Broadcasting’s Family of Radio Stations announced the 40th Annual Farm Woman of the
Year on Wednesday, March 27th at their studios in Shawano, Wisconsin. The 2024 Farm Woman
of the Year winner is Taylor Przybylski of Krakow, Wisconsin.
Results Broadcasting’s 4 local radio stations, “Shawano’s Greatest Country” WTCH-AM 960 & 96.1 FM; “B99.3-The Rock Station” 99.3 FM WOWN; “The Franchise Sports Radio 94.9 FM-96.5 FM-AM 1380” WOTE; and also “Frog 92.3-Hit Country” 92.3 FM WJMQ; gave their listeners an opportunity to nominate area farm women who they thought would be most deserving of this award.
This year’s Farm Woman of the Year is a partner in Greener Pastures Dairy for the past 6 years. She is also a family employee on her parents farm for 10 years prior to that. Greener Pastures is a dairy, cash crop operation in Krakow, Wisconsin. They milk 85 cows in a stall barn and raise replacement heifers at a second rented facility. 350 acres are cropped for feeding the dairy herd and selling soybeans, wheat, and corn as cash crops. Taylor also owns and manages a horse riding, training, boarding facility on site. Taylor is engaged to Riley Caron and they are preparing for their Wedding this fall.
Results Broadcasting General Manager, Eric Voight, stated, “Taylor’s dedication and involvement with the management of their operation, her family, as well as many farm-related organizations in the community brought her nomination to the top of the list.”
The special broadcast featured this year’s Farm Woman of the Year sponsors, Przybylski’s family, Farm Woman of the Year supporters, and also representatives from the radio stations. Taylor received many gifts from Farm Woman of the Year sponsors. These included an engraved plaque, and $500 from our Farm Director, Pam Jahnke.
Taylor was nominated by five separate individuals proud of what Taylor has been doing in the dairy industry and agriculture.
Voight added, “In partnership with farmers throughout Northeast Wisconsin and in dedication of serving our listeners, the radio stations are proud to continue to promote farming and also being a loyal friend of the farmer.”
