Attention Wisconsin high school seniors seeking higher education, now is the time to apply for a Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation (WSTF) scholarship. TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) and other telephone companies across the state are teaming up to offer scholarships ranging from $750 to $1,500. In 2023, the Foundation awarded $42,750 to 31 students statewide.
“Each year, TDS is honored to champion the dreams of high school seniors as they pursue higher education,” said Angie Dickison, State Government Affairs manager at TDS. “Through the WSTF scholarship program, we hope to ease the financial burden of college for young adults throughout the communities we proudly serve.”
Interested high school seniors can apply online and review eligibility requirements at the WSTF Scholarship website. Applications must be electronically submitted by Feb. 10, 2024.
This year, the Foundation will award a minimum of twenty-four (24) scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2024. The WSTF panel will review all submitted applications. Finalists will be selected based on factors including grades, academic achievements, and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships will be presented during the recipients’ high school graduation ceremonies or awards night programs.
