Technology continues to change how we farm, and the agriculture field is adopting technology faster than most people realize. Students from area schools have a chance to test and operate equipment with this technology at Swiderski Equipment’s hands-on Ag Technology Exploration Day.
When: Wednesday, September 27th, 9am-5pm
Where: Swiderski Equipment Inc, 820 Old Hwy 51 N, Mosinee WI 54455
Who: Over 160 high school students from across 8 different Central WI schools are registered to attend.
Why: The event features hands-on learning stations where students can see technology in action. They will learn about career opportunities within the Ag Tech world.
Mosinee High School FFA will also be receiving a GPS simulator, provided by New Holland, Raven Industries and Swiderski Equipment. Mosinee FFA was selected as one of 5 chapters from across the country to receive a state-of-the-art tractor simulator allowing students to learn more about GPS technology in equipment within their own classroom. The simulator will be presented to the FFA Chapter at 9am to open up the event.
