On average, Wisconsin farmers got $6.16 per bushel of corn in July. This is 9 cents below the June price and also 63 cents below July 2022. This is according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
Wisconsin farmers averaged $14.70 per bushel for soybeans. This was 80 cents above the June
price but 50 cents below the July 2022 price.
The July average oat price per bushel, at $3.62, was 59 cents below June but $1.44 below July 2022.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $140.00 per ton in July. This was $11.00 below the June price but $6.00 above the July 2022 price. The July 2023 alfalfa hay price, at $150.00, was $5.00 below the previous month but $6.00 above July 2022. The average price received for other hay during July was $117.00 per ton. This was $10.00 below the June price but $13.00 above July last year.
