The Wisconsin all milk price for June 2023 was $16.20 per hundredweight. This was $1.70 below last month’s price and $10.10 below last June’s price, according to the latest agricultural prices report from USDA.
The U.S. all milk price for June was $17.90 per cwt, $1.70 higher than Wisconsin’s price but $1.40 lower than last month’s U.S. price.
Prices received for milk cows for dairy herd replacement averaged $1,910 per head as of July 1, 2023.
On average, Wisconsin farmers got $6.24 per bushel of corn in June. This is unchanged from the May price but 83 cents below June 2022.
Wisconsin farmers averaged $13.90 per bushel for soybeans. This was 50 cents below the May
price and $2.20 below the June 2022 price.
The June average oat price per bushel, at $4.21, was 17 cents above May but $1.10 below June 2022.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $151 per ton in June. This was $5 below the May price but $7
above the June 2022 price. The June 2023 alfalfa hay price, at $155, was $15 below the previous month
but $5 above June 2022. The average price received for other hay during June was $127 per ton. This was
$14 above the May price and $16 above June last year.
