Join the Western Wisconsin Conservation Council & neighboring Farmer-Led Watershed Councils for the first of its kind Soil Health Raffle Run. So far, there are 9 different soil health sites to visit across the St. Croix, Polk and Dunn counties. More sites may be added before the event, sites will display conservation topics:
- Haney testing and nitrogen ROI
- Demo plots looking at tillage practices and cover crops
- Nitrogen optimization research plots
- Small grains rotation and lysimeter study plots
- Strip-till next to no-till in rye
- Low disturbance manure injection & planting green
- Double cropping with triticale
Visit these sites on your own anytime between July 10 through July 13. Take a selfie or remember some details to claim a raffle ticket for each site visited. Then join us for a 6 p.m. dinner, sponsored by Compeer Financial on July 13 at Jon-De Farms 2041 30th Ave, Baldwin, WI 54002. This will be an opportunity to discuss the sites visited and network with area farmers as well as a chance to win in the raffle.

Western Wisconsin Conservation Council is a farmer-led non-profit group of farmers dedicated to promoting water conservation, environmentally sound agricultural practices and community engagement.
