The Wisconsin Farm Center’s Farmer Wellness program offers free, confidential counseling services provided by mental health professionals to Wisconsin farmers and their families.
Karen Endres, Farmer Wellness Program Coordinator, says that these services are offered through the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection. She says whether you are on the farm, working off the farm to try and bring home extra income, or are trying to balance virtual or hybrid school, if you are struggling there is someone to help.
The 24/7 Farmer Wellness Helpline, tele-counseling, counseling vouchers, and online farmer support groups are all available and are customizable to your individual or family’s needs.
