Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is celebrating Wisconsin cheese this February, including with the Cheese is My Love Language campaign. With Valentine’s Day and National Pizza Day fast approaching, the focus is on Wisconsin Cheese – elevating restaurant menus and adding value for customers.
Rick Findly, the Vice President of Food Service for Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, says that restaurants have seen a 5-10% increase in volume when using the Proudly Wisconsin® Cheese Badge. Nearly 90% of customers also say that the quality of cheese affects their impression of a restaurant’s menu.
He says that pizza restaurants are honing in for the celebration of Valentine’s Day on February 14th, and National Pizza Day on February 9th by serving local, Wisconsin made cheese.
