County Materials Supports Easterseals

Easterseals Wisconsin recently received a $13,000 grant from County Materials Corporation. The grant will be used to improve the popular high ropes course that is accessed by hundreds of campers during the summer months at Easterseals Wisconsin Camps, located in Wisconsin Dells. Children and adults with disabilities have been enjoying the accessibility and independence this unique camping environment offers since the camp was first established in 1938. It serves as the longest, continuously running Easterseals camp in the nation.

“We are delighted to receive this grant from County Materials, a supporter of our camps for many years,” comments Carissa Peterson, VP of Camp and Respite Services at Easterseals Wisconsin.

“Each year we look forward to seeing the joy it brings to so many campers. This generous grant will help us make the necessary improvements to a popular summertime activity.”
