Earlier this week, National FFA Officer Candidates from across the country made their way to Indianapolis to begin the officer interview and selection process. National convention starts Wednesday, October 27th and goes through Saturday October 30th. So far, the candidates have been narrowed down from 37 people to 21. One of those select 21 people, is Cortney Zimmerman from Spencer, Wisconsin. Cortney was a Wisconsin FFA Vice President in 2020-2021 and is now going through extensive rounds of applications and interviews in hopes of becoming a National FFA Officer.
Fun fact, I actually know Cortney through the Wisconsin FFA Band. Cortney played the alto saxophone, and I played the tenor sax, so we got to know each other a little bit!
Wishing Cortney the best of luck!
