After not attending any fairs for a year, it was a treat to get out to the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. Funny enough, this was my husband’s first time EVER attending it.
First stop: the horse barn
As a die-hard 4-Her I had to stroll through the livestock, horse and small animal barns. Right away the smells reminded me of the days of feeding, bedding and getting ready to show my steers and pigs at the local county fair.
Next up: Chippewa County 4-H food booth
Grilled cheese anyone?
Onto strolling the rides and doing a little people watching.
Then we listened to a warm welcome from the State Fairest of the Fair and Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest.
Lastly: market steer show
If we didn’t have to make it home to a toddler, I would have loved to have taken in the Trace Adkins concert.
