Taylor Kramer who is the 2020-2021 Brooklyn Dairy Queen says that the reason she applied to be a Green County Dairy Queen was because, “my Grandma. And when I was younger I liked looking at the Queens, and I was like ‘I want to be that some day.'” She says that the experience is a “Dream Come True.” COVID has affected the events that the Green County Dairy Queens and Princesses can attend but they are creating new ones to keep the Green County Dairy Spirit alive and well.
On August Sunday 23rd, 2020 at the Legion Park in Brooklyn the Green County Ag Chest will be selling sundaes, ice cream cones and cream puffs. This event is happening from 10 am to 4pm and Taylor and the other Green County Dairy Queens and Princesses will be there as well.
The Green County Ag Chest is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and they are a non-profit that gives back to Green County Youth and the Agriculture Community.
