When Wisconsin dairy farmers analyze their milk checks, Connie Seefeldt, dairy farmer in Coleman, Wisconsin and current vice chair of the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board, wants you to know your checkoff dollars are well spent.
Seefeldt says that she’s continuously amazed at the product development, industry partnerships, and new customers that dairy is gaining – thanks to that checkoff investment.
Recently Seefeldt says she’s seen what a continued impact the Fuel Up To Play 60 program can have on kids lives through healthy eating of Wisconsin dairy and good exercise!
Fuel Up to Play 60 is a program that offers the nation’s most extensive in-school health and wellness program created by America’s dairy farmers, the National Dairy Council and the National Football League. The program encourages students to “fuel up” with nutrient-rich foods and to “get active and play” for at least 60 minutes daily. Fuel Up to Play 60 is funded by dairy farmers to engage Wisconsin’s youth, by sharing information they crave, in ways that build long-term dairy consumption, trust in farming and love for Wisconsin dairy products.
