Sara Kronberg of Milton Wisconsin exhibited three pigs at the Rock County Youth Livestock Expo on Wednesday July 29th. Among her were many exhibitors that were just as excited about the chance to show as she was. The show took place in the Livestock Pavilion at the Rock County 4-H Fairgrounds in Janesville, Wisconsin. Due to the risks associated with showing with large numbers of people, each exhibitor and spectator had to wear a mask inside the Pavilion.
Sara said that is the Rock County Swine Show would have been competently canceled, “It would have been really disappointing because going to a show, its always really fun to see all the hard work pay off that you’ve done over the summer.” Sara was not the only showmen that was very grateful for the opportunity to show.
There is a virtual meat animal sale taking place until Friday July 31st at noon to support the youth that have put in hard work this summer to keep their animals in top condition despite the cancellations that have taken place. In this support auction, buyers are not purchasing the animal, but supporting the 4-H and FFA Youth of Rock County.
