Wisconsin’s agriculture is continually changing, and a WAXX 104.5-area Alice in Dairyland finalist is hoping to see agricultural promotion programs adjust accordingly.
Stephanie Hoff of Thorp will be one of the finalists this weekend during the virtual Alice in Dairyland finals program in Walworth County. She is one of four from the area being considered for the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection paid promotions position; she was featured on today’s WAXX 104.5 Midwest Farm Report show.
“Agriculture is always moring forward…it’s always changing If Wisconsin agriculture can continue to evolve with the times, so can its ambassador,” she said. “During this stay-at-home time world we’re living in, “Alice” can change what she does, too.”
Hoff, who was raised on a small farm near Thorp, is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate who works in the media.
WAXX farm director Bob Bosold interviewed Hoff; finalists’ interviews are being run through Friday on the WAXX Midwest Farm Report show:
