Every day on the farm things have to get done. Animals have to be taken care of, equipment has to be maintained, and with the weather warming up in the Badger State, crops have to be planted now as well. Focus on Energy is here for Wisconsin farmers as they roll into spring and summer activities on their operations.
Farm Director Pam Jahnke says, “if you’ve got a new project that you are undertaking in 2020 make sure to talk with your Focus on Energy adviser first and make sure you’re saving every penny you can on everything from lighting right on through to some of the machines you depend on to get the job done in today’s production agriculture.” Kevin Weiller, a Focus on energy adviser based in Marshfield, recently spoke with Jahnke on the Mid-West Farm Report about how Wisconsin producers can better their operations while saving energy and money in the meantime as well.
