A farmer from Wheeler in Dunn County has been named executive director of the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service.
The non-profit group’s board of directors recently named Lauren Langworthy to the position.
She’s worked with MOSES for four years as the organization’s program director.
Besides her work with MOSES, she and her husband Caleb operate a 153-acre sheep and cattle operation. She also serves as a district director of the Wisconsin Farmers Union.
MOSES, based at Spring Valley, organizes programs and services for operators of organic farms. It also holds an annual national conference each January at La Crosse.
