Bryan Jensen is a part of the entomology dept at UW-Madison. He explained what the insect levels looked like for this year in both corn and soybeans. Overall, things have been pretty quiet this year. Scouting fields is one the biggest things you can do according to Bryan, especially with the threat of a new pest just to the west of the Mississippi River.
