Seed drills and Brillions should be cleaned and checked over this time of the year, according to state forage specialist Dan Undersander.
Undersander said too many farmers put their seeding equipment away when spring planting seasons are completed, and then only pulled out to use when the next planting season starts — leaving those farmers wondering why they didn’t get good seeding results.
“Going over the drill (this time of the year) is crucial,” Undersander said.
