Governor-elect Tony Evers gave Wisconsin agriculture a present just before
Christmas by naming Brad Pfaff of the Melrose-Mindoro area as Wisconsin’s next agriculture secretary.
Pfaff’s career has included time as a staff member for Third
District Congressman Ron Kind and served as the state Farm Service Agency director. He also worked in Washington for the FSA during the Obama administration.
Farm organizations from across the state are praising the Pfaff selection, as they say he knows Wisconsin agriculture and the challenges the industry faces in the future. He will take over for agriculture secretary Sheila Harsdorf.
