Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation delegates said during their recent convention at Wisconsin Dells that the organization could consider a dairy supply management system.
Paul Zimmerman, the WFBF’s executive director of governmental relations, said the policy will be to research potential supply management systems without committing to being part of any.
“It kind of gives the board and staff direction to see what’s out there, but not necessarily saying we’re for or against it.”
The organization took up many other ag-policy issues during its Dec. 3 policy meeting, which was part of the WFBF’s 99th annual convention.
