WPS Farm Show Wraps Up

WPS Spokesman Matt Cullen is thrilled to welcome spring with the 62nd annual WPS Farm Show this week. He was pleased with the length of the exhibitor list and overall attendance.

The show, at the EAA Grounds in Oshkosh, boasts 400 exhibitors and expects about 20,000 people. The numbers are comparable to last year.

New this year — free parking. Admission has always been free. Other new elements are bigger and better farm equipment, more precision planting technologies, and new dairy robotic systems. The show welcomed 33 new exhibitors this year ranging from dairy farm apparel to building materials.

The WPS Farm Show also welcomed new generations as young families came to enjoy the show, carrying on the tradition of the farm show being a family outing. The kids’ tractor pull drew in youngsters, and the technical colleges and universities also see the show as a way to recruit students.
