The Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo returns Feb. 1-2 at the Kalahari Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells.
This is Wisconsin’s premier grower event with more than 1,200 corn and soybean growers and pork producers. The two-day trade show and educational program boasts more than 125 exhibitors from across the country.
“The Corn·Soy Expo is once again something many farmers and other people in ag will want to put on their calendars,” says Wisconsin Soybean Association President Sara Stelter.
WSA, the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, and the Wisconsin Pork Association host the event. The agenda is packed with opportunities to dive into the latest industry research and trends.
The program kicks off Feb. 1 with a keynote address from Angie Setzer. Setzer has been in the cash grain industry for over 18 years and launched Consus Ag Consulting in 2021. She’s followed by a market development panel and multiple breakout sessions.
And back by popular demand — the Beer & Bull Session on Thursday afternoon! Attendees will have the chance to ask agronomic questions over an ice-cold beverage.
“This event is a great place for people to gather and brainstorm with growers from all around the state,” says WCGA President Mark Hoffmann. “The quality of general speakers, breakout sessions, and tradeshow exhibitors will make this year the best show yet.”
A Farm Bill Session will start the day on Friday morning, with Congressman Derrick Van Orden invited (not confirmed). Rob Sharkey, better known as the Shark Farmer, is the lunch keynote speaker on Friday; Sharkey is an Illinois grain farmer, owner of a whitetail deer hunting outfitter, podcast & radio show host, and host of multiple TV shows on RFD-TV and PBS.
“WPA is a proud partner of the 2024 Wisconsin Corn•Soy Expo,” says WPA Treasurer Brian Klubertanz. “Our pigs are great customers of the corn and soybeans raised in this state, so it makes sense for us to be a part of this event. I’m excited about the general sessions, industry seminars, and Porkapalooza, which will feature bacon, beverages, and a band to enjoy while networking.”
Online registration is available for attendees and exhibitors through Jan. 27 at https://cornsoyexpo.org/. Walk-in registration is available at the event.
