The Dairy Innovation Hub will host an informational research poster session at the State Capitol to highlight select projects funded by the initiative.
The event is Jan. 31 from 12-3 p.m. on the first-floor rotunda at the Wisconsin State Capitol.
The poster session will represent all three of the Hub’s campuses — UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-River Falls.
A $7.8 million annual state investment supports the Dairy Innovation Hub to drive research and development across its three campuses. The goal is to ensure Wisconsin’s $45.6 billion dairy community remains a global pacesetter in producing nutritious dairy products. This is all accomplished with a keen focus on economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
Legislators, staff, and the public are welcome to browse a dozen research posters and engage with students and faculty affiliated with Hub-funded projects.
On the same day, farmers and ag industry professionals will be in the building for legislative discussions and visits as part of Ag Day at the Capitol, coordinated by Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
