Are you toying with the idea of getting the family involved in 4-H?
Marie Witzel, Dodge County 4-H youth development educator, has a couple of opportunities coming up to help you learn more about it.
A new family program is an evening designed for new families who have enrolled or are interested in a 4-H program. The family gathering is designed for members and their parents. It starts with an overview of the Dodge County 4-H program. Then, members can enjoy hands-on activities while parents ask questions of Extension 4-H staff and 4-H volunteer adults.
Register by calling 920-386-3790.
The second opportunity is “Let’s Make Gingerbread Houses,” a co-sponsored event between Extension and the Beaver Dam Community Library. The library is hosting the event on Dec. 26 at 1 p.m. at 311 N. Spring Street, Beaver Dam. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Register: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfaatiFysq3GdHcvKIi_G9zjH1UH9JY_7vRVpsM3GesB9t_qw/
