FarmFirst Dairy Cooperatives 4th Annual Meeting took place February 12th through the 13th in Onalaska. Attendees heard from some great speakers that included Michelle Birschbach who spoke on the importance of a succession planning and Dr. John Newton who presented on the dairy prices, policy and dairy economics. Along with the speakers Coop members had business to attend to as representatives from all of the state met to discuss activities and review resolutions that would be essential to help drive the Coop into the future. Bryant had the opportunity to talk with David Cooper FarmFirst General Manager, Cooper says “the Coop was profitable last year, the market conditions we are now facing will make 2016 a interesting year”
