That&#8217;s up 40 percent from last year. Eggs per 100 layers for November was 2,510, down slightly from November 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total layers in the U.S. on Dec. 1 totaled 389 million, up 3 percent from last year. Rate of lay per day averaged 79.4 eggs per 100 layers, up 1 percent from Dec. 1, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
