Brayden Peter of Howards Grove is the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair Swine Supreme Exhibitor. The Supreme Exhibitor award is based on a junior exhibitor\u2019s overall achievements at the 2023 Fair from points earned participating in the Junior Swine show, Quiz contest, Communication contest and Showmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peter has met many amazing people while exhibiting as a junior and open show exhibitor over the past six years. He is currently a college sophomore furthering his education at UW- Platteville. After college graduation, he would like to pursue a career in the ag industry. Peter plans to continue to grow his show pig operation and exhibit his pigs at state and national shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When asked about a favorite memory, Peter said it was from this past year when “I was honored to show the Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt of the Junior Show. It was a huge accomplishment and very rewarding. All of the long nights and early mornings paid off. The sweetest part about this victory was that the gilt was bred and owned. I was able to raise her from day one.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
