Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation\u2019s Agriculture in the Classroom program has awarded $4,000 to educators and agriculture literacy programs. Grant dollars will support innovative core curricula initiatives that incorporate agriculture concepts while helping students meet academic standards and develop career readiness skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAgriculture is one of Wisconsin\u2019s largest sectors, providing nearly one in every nine jobs in our state,\u201d said Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom Coordinator Beth Schaefer. \u201cWe are excited to support educators who work to grow student achievement while simultaneously introducing students to the skills and jobs needed to produce the food and fiber that we all rely on every single day.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Groups, schools, and educators can apply for up to $500 as part of the Ag in the Classroom\u2019s \u2018Ag in All Classrooms\u2019 grant program.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
