UW-Madison, and UW-Platteville are two of the partner programs annunced under a $10 million grant secured through the\u00a0Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grant has awarded the financial support of U.S. dairy\u2019s Net Zero Initiative (NZI) as a critical on-farm pathway to advance the industrywide 2050 Environmental Stewardship Goals set through the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funding will support a six-year project \u2013 \u201cDairy Soil & Water Regeneration: building soil health to reduce greenhouse gases, improve water quality and enable new economic benefits\u201d<\/em> \u2013 that will produce data to be broadly shared among the dairy community to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
