Fairs.com Modernizes Local Ag Events

Wisconsin’s fair season may slowly be drawing to a close for 2026, but plans are already being made for 2027. Some fairs are discovering new partnerships that may help!

Fairs.com transforms how local ag boards manage and promote community events. Scott Hillier, CEO of Fairs.com, created the platform after a frustrating visit to a large fair revealed outdated technology. He spoke with fair board members across the nation and heard a recurring theme: “The fair isn’t what it used to be.” Declining livestock numbers and shrinking attendance signaled a clear need for modern operational tools.

Fair boards often rely on dedicated volunteers who balance full-time jobs. These teams lack the time to implement complex software systems on their own. Fairs.com solves this problem by offering an all-in-one digital platform. The service provides custom websites, integrated ticketing, social media scheduling, and automated email and text marketing.

The company also focuses heavily on industry education. Fairs.com partnered with Ian Hill and the “You Make the Difference” initiative to deliver free training, grants, and dedicated networking apps to agricultural societies.

Looking ahead to the 2027 fair season, Fairs.com plans expanded support for local organizations. The team will host monthly online learning sessions and launch the “Fairs Across America” tour in their FairForce One RV. Future platform updates will introduce custom mobile apps, vendor management features, winter storage tracking, and facility rental tools.

About Pam Jahnke

Getting up at 2 in the morning might shock some of her listeners, but for Pam Jahnke, it’s part of the business. Born in Northeastern Wisconsin, Pam Jahnke grew up in agriculture. Raised on her family’s 200-acre dairy farm, she learned the “farm work ethic” first hand.
