Fed lamb prices were uneven last week. The lamb cutout value was $2.50 lower at $669.32. The estimated weekly harvest total of 32,000 was equal to the previous week and 3,000 fewer than last year. Sheep and lamb harvest during June was 7% lower than last year with production down 11%. The average live weight nationally was 116 pounds, down 5 pounds from a year ago. Wisconsin federally inspected establishments harvested 8,000 sheep and lambs in June, 1,000 more than a year ago. The average live weight in Wisconsin for the month was 149 pounds.
