Kevin Krentz Receives Endorsement

The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) announced its endorsement of WCGA member Kevin Krentz, who is running to represent Wisconsin’s 57th Assembly District, citing his commitment to supporting Wisconsin agriculture, rural communities and policies that strengthen the state’s corn industry. Krentz has had extensive leadership in agricultural organizations, having served as president of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Dairy Business Association.

“Kevin Krentz understands the important role agriculture plays in Wisconsin’s economy and the challenges facing today’s farmers,” said Paul Jarvis, President of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association. “He has demonstrated a willingness to listen to farmers and advocate for policies that encourage growth, innovation and long-term success for rural Wisconsin.”

Wisconsin’s corn farmers contribute $628.8 million to the gross state product, supporting thousands of jobs while providing grain for livestock feed, renewable fuels and a growing number of bioproducts. WCGA supports candidates who recognize the importance of maintaining a strong agricultural economy through sound public policy.

As a candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly, Krentz has expressed support for initiatives that promote renewable fuels, protect farmers’ ability to remain competitive and strengthen rural economic development.
