“Though traditional skills often skip a generation, they do not have to be lost,” said Sheila Everhart, Executive Director of WATA. “By registering for these heritage workshops, attendees can reconnect with genuine rural roots and master new crafts directly from the local artisans celebrated in our Folk & Field Digital Passport. This initiative isn’t just about travel—it’s about preserving the hands-on heritage that built our rural communities.”
