Wisconsin Potato Harvest Underway: Fresh Red and Yellow Varieties Now Shipping
Alsum Farms has officially kicked off its red and yellow potato harvest in Adams, Wisconsin. Right now, crews are washing, grading, and packing the season’s first loads. As a result, these fresh potatoes are heading straight to distribution centers and retail grocers.

Harvest Schedule & Early Crop Varieties
Following this initial harvest, Alsum Farms will begin digging its Russet Caribou and Goldrush varieties on August 20th. Building on this momentum, these two early-season varieties will lead the charge as the first new-crop russets to hit the market. In fact, they will be washed, packed, and shipped directly to Midwest retailers right from the field.
Meanwhile, health-conscious shoppers won’t have to wait long. Organic russet, red, and yellow potatoes will be ready to ship even sooner on August 5th.
