Open Farm Day Welcomes Attendees Rain Or Shine

Jane and David Stevens are hosting their annual OPEN FARM DAY on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at their 130-acre farm located at E8984 Weinke Road in North Freedom. Four Elements Farm has been certified organic since 1989, and both Jane and David are widely known for their inspirational presentations at gardening, farming and organic events. In recognition of their pioneering work with sustainable farming practices, the couple were awarded the prestigious Organic Farmer of the Year award by Marbleseed (formerly known as MOSES) in 2020.

During Open Farm Day, there will be two consecutive tours at 12:30 and 2:30pm, that will be repeated so you can catch both. Jane will tour her Chakra and Planetary garden, along with the medicinal plant production fields, sharing insights on planting, harvesting, drying, and the benefits of medicinal herbs along the way. David will take attendees on a hay wagon tour of the farm’s natural areas featuring the natural history of the area, its native plants, and an organic prairie restoration.  No registration is required, and admission is free – RAIN OR SHINE! Food truck and refreshments will be on site.

Don’t miss this inspiring and enlightening opportunity to tour the farm where the plants that are used to create the internationally awarded Four Elements herbal products are produced.
