Marbleseed’s farm-to-table fundraiser, Grown Here, is taking place on May 16 at the historic Seven Acre Dairy Company. This five-course tasting experience brings together the region’s premier organic producers and culinary innovators to support the future of resilient Midwest food systems.
The evening is headlined by the return of Odessa Piper, a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement. The James Beard Award-winning founder of L’Etoile and honorary doctorate recipient from UW-Madison returns to the Midwest to celebrate the regionally rooted, farm-driven cuisine.
Joining Piper is Abraham Gessesse, chef-owner of St. Paul’s Hyacinth and a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist.
The five-course paired tasting will feature collaborative dishes from an elite roster of chefs: Patrick O’Halloran (The Deliciouser); Stephanie Le & Jacqueline Le (Ha Long Bay); Lauren Montelbano (The Vibrant Veg); and Selena Warsaw-Lane (The Frozen Local/Future Fruit Farm).
Each course highlights seasonally grown ingredients sourced directly from local partners, including Squashington Farm, Seven Seeds Farm, Meadowlark Organics, and others.
