The Apiary Inspectors of America’s 2025-2026 U.S. Beekeeping Survey is now open. Wisconsin beekeepers are encouraged to take it.

Each April, beekeepers across the U.S., from hobbyist to commercial, are encouraged to take the survey. By doing so, they become citizen scientists contributing to valuable long-term monitoring of managed colony losses and beekeeping practices. Data obtained is used by a diversity of stakeholders, ranging from national beekeeping organizations that request for federal and state support of the industry to scientists that design research plans to address major industry issues.
