Students from Madison College delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Wisconsin Professional Agriculture Student Contest (PAS), earning multiple team and individual honors in February and advancing to national competition.
In the Agricultural Machinery Service Technician (AMST) state event, Madison College students secured top placements against strong statewide competition. Wyatt King and Spencer Peterson earned first place, while Lucas Taylor and Eldon Baerwolf placed third. A blended team of Madison College and Northwood Technical College students, Sawyer Hernan and Matthew Manc, finished seventh, and Cody VanHerwaarden and Henry Pfister placed eleventh.
Madison College students also stood out in individual rankings, with Wyatt King earning first place overall, Spencer Peterson taking second, and Eldon Baerwolf finishing fourth in the state contest.
Four Madison College students advanced to represent the college at the National Professional Agriculture Student Contest, held in Branson, Missouri, competing against top students from across the country.
The Professional Agriculture Student (PAS) organization provides opportunities for students enrolled in agriculture programs to develop technical skills and leadership through competitive events and career preparation.
