Inaugural Young Leaders Program Joins Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo

The Wisconsin Pork Association (WPA) is excited to announce a Young Leaders Program will, for the first time, be held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Corn Soy Expo. The event will take place on Thursday, January 29th, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

This event is open to young people ages 7-19, as of January 1, 2026. Individuals who are interested in the agriculture industry are encouraged to take part. Participants will take part in a robust, fast paced program that will allow them to expand their network of agricultural professionals, explore career opportunities, and meet new people. The program will be split into two age groups and take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Tamarind and Guava rooms of the Kalahari Convention Center.

The Wisconsin Corn Soy Expo is Wisconsin’s premier grower event. More than 1,200 corn and soybean growers and pork producers will be in attendance. Hosted by WPA, Wisconsin Soybean Association, and the Wisconsin Corn Association, the two-day trade show and educational program offers attendees ample opportunities to network with industry professionals. They will also learn about current industry issues and opportunities.

The Young Leaders Program will be the perfect complement to Expo. It will be a great way to get our young people involved in Wisconsin’s agriculture industry. Additionally, the program while develop them as future leaders. A special thank you goes out to Brady Vondra and Vondra Ag Service, LLC, of Platteville, for sponsoring this event. We applaud his commitment to developing young leaders!

For more information and to register for the Young Leaders Program, visit WPA’s website here. For other questions, call the WPA office at 608-723-7551 or email [email protected].
