The Wisconsin Corn•Soy Expo is proud to announce that Mike North will be a featured speaker at this year’s Expo. North is the managing partner at Ever.Ag and a respected voice in agricultural risk management. The Expo will be taking place January 29–30, 2026, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
North brings more than 25 years of experience in commodity markets, risk management and agricultural leadership. A Wisconsin native, Mike grew up on his family’s dairy farm in southeastern Wisconsin, where his passion for agriculture began. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He also served as a Wisconsin State FFA Officer.
In 1995, Mike began his work in the futures industry. He quickly became recognized for his understanding of market dynamics and his ability to help producers navigate volatility. His early work helped pioneer market-responsive option hedging programs. His insight led him to speak to agricultural audiences across the country.
In 2014, Mike founded Commodity Risk Management Group (CRMG), which later merged with Rice Dairy to form Ever.Ag in 2019. The company has since become a leader in providing marketing, risk management, insurance, and technology solutions for agricultural clients worldwide. Following a 2021 merger with Dairy.com, Ever.Ag continues to expand its innovative tools that empower supply chains to feed a growing world.
Education and outreach remain central to Mike’s mission. He is a frequent contributor to national media, including AgDay, RFD-TV, and U.S. Farm Report, and has been published in numerous agricultural periodicals. He has also served as a part-time professor at UW–Platteville and remains a sought-after speaker at agricultural conferences nationwide.
In addition to his professional work, Mike has made a lasting impact on Wisconsin’s dairy industry through over a decade of service on the Dairy Business Association (DBA) Board of Directors, including one term as president. His contributions have been recognized through multiple honors, including the 2006 Rising Star in Business Award for the IA–IL–WI Tri-State Region, UW–Platteville’s Outstanding Alumni Award (2011), and Distinguished Alumni Award (2021).
Attendees of the Wisconsin Corn•Soy Expo can look forward to Mike’s engaging presentation, where he will share timely insights into agricultural markets, risk management strategies and the evolving landscape of U.S. agribusiness.
