Kwik Trip Voted Nation’s Top Gas Station

Kwik Trip is a staple in Wisconsin, seemingly on every corner. Now they are being recognized for their dedication to their customers. USA Today has named Kwik Trip as the best has station brand in the nation. The awards don’t stop there as they have been named as having the best gas station food in the country.

“We are very excited to win both awards, being voted number one in food as well as overall,” says Ben Leibl a Public Relations Specialist with Kwik Trip. “We are very proud of the food we have in our stores, not only in our hotspots, but our fresh case as well, and it is something we pride ourselves on.”

Relying On Farmers

Leibl says that with Kwik Trip being a Wisconsin based company, the agriculture industry is very important to them. This is especially true for milk. Kwik Trip sources all the milk used in their products from within 100 miles of their headquarters in LaCrosse. This allows them to be able to provide fresh, quality dairy products to their consumers.

“We can sell 100 pounds of butter a week and 150,000 dozens of eggs a week, all of which are supporting area farmers,” says Leibl.

Kwik Trip recently ran a $1.99 a gallon milk promotion in which they were using nearly 100,000 gallons a day. In order to do this they had to rely heavily on the Wisconsin dairy farmers. Another recent promotion that required farmers help was the chicken promotion. Leibl says during this event they sold over 7 million units of chicken products of all varieties.

Whether it be for their ice cream, cheese curds, or chicken sandwiches, Kwik Trip relies heavily on Wisconsin farmers. Doing so to be able to provide the best food for their guests. Leibl says that on behalf of Kwik Trip, they thank all the farmers for their dedication to the agriculture industry and that these achievements would not be possible without them.
