Join the Team Promoting Wisconsin’s Beef Industry

The Wisconsin Beef Council (WBC), located in Verona, is hiring a full-time Director of Compliance and Operations. This new team member will work under the direction of the Executive Director. They will help support WBC’s mission to grow demand for beef.

The Director will manage many tasks that support office operations and beef programs across the state. Key responsibilities include managing Beef Checkoff collections and compliance and assisting with the Beef Quality Assurance program.

In addition, the Director will schedule board meetings and handle office communications. They will also provide contract support to the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association.

To qualify, applicants should have a post-secondary degree or related work experience. An agricultural background is preferred, especially knowledge of the cattle industry.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, good at managing time, and strong in communication skills. They should also know how to use Microsoft Office programs.
