Eight Wisconsin educators have received scholarships to attend the 2025 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference (NAITCO). The event will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in June 2025.
This three-day conference helps educators use agriculture to teach subjects like math, science, and social studies. It includes farm tours, hands-on workshops, and the chance to meet other teachers passionate about ag literacy.
“Agriculture offers an incredibly rich context to teach math, science, social studies and nutrition,” said Beth Schaefer, Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom Coordinator. “We are honored to support these dedicated educators in attending the NAITCO Conference to build their lessons, resources and professional network while growing their awareness and understanding of agriculture,” she added.
