Gathering Ground is hosting the fifth annual Farm and Field Bike Tour on Washington Island on Friday, June 27, 2025. The 20-mile bike ride will feature tours of four unique farms: Fragrant Isle, Sweet Mountain Farm, Island Orchard Cider, and Gathering Ground.
Along the way, riders will enjoy the rural beauty of Washington Island and learn about its thriving agricultural community. The ride will end at Gathering Ground, where participants can enjoy lunch catered by Jackson Harbor Soup. In addition, riders will experience a cider tasting from Island Orchard Cider and live music to celebrate the day.
Riders should check in between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. at Gathering Ground, located at 1751 Lake View Road. Tickets are $45 and include farm tours, lunch, and a cider tasting experience. Tickets can be purchased online at www.gatheringgroundwi.org. For those who need a bike, Island Adventure Rentals is offering a 10% discount on ebike rentals for participants. They are located at 164 Green Bay Road and welcome riders to stop by for rental needs.
