Funding Available for Farm and Home Waste Cleanup

Applications are now open for 2026 Clean Sweep grants in Wisconsin. These grants help collect and safely dispose of hazardous waste, including farm chemicals, household waste, and unused medications.

Communities and agencies across the state can apply. This includes cities, towns, villages, counties, Tribal nations, and public health departments. However, only counties may apply for agricultural pesticide collection funding.

To apply, go to the Clean Sweep SharePoint site. New applicants should create an account first, then return to complete the application.

Instructions for both new and returning users are available at: https://datcp.wi.gov/Pages/Programs_Services/CleanSweep.aspx.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025. Grant awards will be announced by August 1, 2025.
