The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF) has hired Jenn Rittenhouse as the District 4 Coordinator for west-central Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse will work with county Farm Bureaus to develop and implement programs that serve members. She will also coordinate membership recruitment and retention efforts. Her role covers Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, and Trempealeau counties.
“Jenn’s Farm Bureau background, enthusiasm, and diverse agricultural experience will serve her well in this role,” said Bob Leege, WFBF’s Executive Director of Member Relations.
Rittenhouse grew up on her family’s sesquicentennial dairy farm in Manitowoc County. She served as Manitowoc County’s Miss Farm Bureau and participated in 4-H, FFA, and dairy cattle showing. She earned a degree in agriculture marketing and communications from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Previously, Rittenhouse worked for Organic Valley in LaFarge. She currently farms with her husband and son near Elroy, where they rotationally graze beef, raise forage crops, and manage forest land.
“I’m honored to serve in this role and excited to work with the great members of District 4,” said Rittenhouse. “I have fond Farm Bureau memories and look forward to making new ones with so many wonderful people.”
Rittenhouse began her duties as District 4 Coordinator on February 26.
