Blain’s Farm & Fleet Among ‘Best Employers’

Blain’s Farm & Fleet has been named one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2025 by Forbes. This is the seventh consecutive year Blain’s has been on this prestigious list. It’s its first recognition in the Large Employers category.

Among Wisconsin’s Large Employers, Blain’s secured second place in the Retail and Wholesale category and sixth place among all categories. Additionally, Blain’s finished 23rd among all Large Employers nationwide in the Retail and Wholesale category.

The Midwest retailer achieved a new milestone this year. Blain’s moved from the Best Midsize Employer category to the Best Large Employer category after exceeding the 5,000-employee threshold.

The retailer writes that entering this category reflects its steady expansion while maintaining a workplace culture built on trust, respect, and opportunity. It also reinforces its ability to compete with larger employers while staying true to what makes it unique — its people, principles, and commitment to creating a rewarding work environment.

“Our team’s exceptional contributions are at the core of this recognition,” says CEO and President Mark Hasting. “Entering the Large Employers category while maintaining the same standard of excellence speaks volumes about our team of Associates. Their dedication has built a workplace culture that supports growth, innovation, and a strong sense of community.”

America’s Best Employers rankings are based on an independent survey of over 217,000 U.S. employees at companies with 1,000+ workers. Participants evaluated their employers on key factors, including workplace culture, career development, compensation, and overall job satisfaction.

“Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent remains essential to our momentum as we continue to expand,” says Chief Human Resources Officer Anna Gedman. “This recognition reinforces our reputation as an employer of choice. We are committed to providing meaningful career opportunities, competitive benefits, and a workplace where associates can grow and thrive.”

Founded in 1955, Blain’s Farm & Fleet is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. Blain’s is a specialty retailer with 45 locations throughout Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan. It serves customers across the nation via its website and mobile app.
