At the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association annual meeting, the Board of Directors elected John Bustamante of Wysocki Family Farms in Plainfield as its president for 2025.
Bustamante succeeds Charlie Mattek of J.W. Mattek & Sons in Deerbrook. Wendy Dykstra of Alsum Farms & Produce in Friesland is vice president. Josh Knights from Heartland Farms, Inc. in Hancock is the secretary. John Hopfensperger of Bushmans’ Inc. in Rosholt is treasurer.
In addition to the four officers, the rest of the WPVGA Board of Directors includes: Mike Baginski, Baginski Farms, Antigo; Randy Fleishauer of Plover River Farms, Stevens Point; Brian Lee from Okray Family Farms, Plover; J.D. Schroeder, Schroeder Bros. Farms, Inc., Antigo; and Jeff Suchon of Bushman’s Riverside Ranch, Crivitz.
The WPVGA Associate Division Board of Directors reelected Matt Selenske from Allied Cooperative’s Pest Pros Division, Adams, as president for 2025.
As part of the Wisconsin Seed Potato Improvement Association Annual Meeting, the WSPIA Board of Directors elected Charlie Husnick of Baginski Farms, Antigo, president for 2025.
